[Japanese Anglers' Voice] Keitech Sexy Impact [Review]
Keitech Impact series. Swing Impact, Live Impact, Shad Impact, and Sexy Impact. If my memory is correct, Sexy Impact is the most latest Impact series bait.
Yeah, this looks sexy. The straight shape with a pintail is designed to produce lifelike movements. Any actions given would be transmitted to the pintail through the perfectly engineered body making great tail action, which looks just like live bait. And yes, Keitech's strong squid scent is contained.

Line ups
They have mini, slim, original, and long. For saltwater, I'm using mini 3.5".
- 2.8” / 1.5g
- 3.8” / 3.3g
- 4.8" / 6.3g
- 5.8" / 10.6g
The body has a 2 tone color. The back and belly have different a color that would make awesome contrasts in the water.
Waki's recommendation.
Weightless rig.
Keitech official website recommends this rig. 4.8" and 5.8" models have enough weight to use for a weightless rig. 4.8" would be good for a spinning tackle. 5.8" can be good for a baitcaster.
Let's set it on the weightless Texas rig and cast it and make it swim right under the water surface,
Jig head rig.
Setting this lure on a jig head, we would be able to have great tail action easily. The amazing pintail action would catch fish for sure.
I used this with a darter-type jig head using for the BOTTOM WIND technique. It caught White Seabass! You can check it ou on my Youtube channel.
[Light Bottom Wind] Japanese Secret technique caught White Seabass.
Drop shot rig
Yes. This straight shape body looks great for a drop shot. 2.8" for finesse drop shot rig would be a killer rig. Tightly shaking the line, it would just look like fish suspend in the water. Just slowly dragging the drop shot weight, the pintail would modestly shake like a wound fish.
Neko rig
I believe Keitech used to have a Neko rig version of this lure. The one that has a hook hanger (plastic tube) for a wacky style hook rigging. Anyway, the shape looks perfect for the Neko rig setting.
Texas rig
I believe this bait would be great working for the Texas rig. It would perfectly imitate small fish like Gobby pecking the bait on the bottom. To fish cover. this lure can go dive into the deep inside it.
The voices from Japanese anglers.
- 👍 Amazing lifelike action!
- 👍 Productive. Tons of fish.
- 👍 My secret weapon.
- 👍 Couple with finesse rigs, this can catch fish in the highly pressured spot.
- 👍 4.8" is good for BFS.
- 👍 This is... baitfish!
- 👍 Another great lure Professor (Kei Hayashi) made!
- 👍 If this lure can't catch fish, it means there are no fish.
- The blister pack can be too bulky...
- The tail can easily rip off.
Go! Keitech!
Thank you!
