Gary Yamamoto Single Tail Grub 4" - A classic masterpiece.

Gary Yamamoto Single Tail Grub 4"

Gary Yamamoto Single Tail Grub 4". A classic masterpiece.

This lure goes along with almost any rig. Many anglers have got great success with this Gary Yamamoto classic.

In Japan, in the early 90s, rigging a Gary Grub on the small jig head was a popular setting for Largemouth Bass. Then in the 21st century, other great lures like Senko, Kut tail, and Fat Ika are coming. Japanese bass anglers quickly learned how effective they are and established best practices for them.

Now, those techniques are known as a Japanese finesse style in the U.S. Many anglers follow it to catch many fishes. Although, I don't know if it's intentional or not.

Gary Yamamoto Custom Bait no longer exists since Gary sold his company. Now the brand ahs a new name, Yamamoto Baits, and is being run by a big outdoor gear company. I saw some new lures they've introduced. They looked okay... The design looks like standard U.S. products. I mean I have a little concern since they look "less Gary Yamamoto DNA".

Anyway, hope they're as great as the old classic Gary Yamamoto baits.
