Rig action in the water - Rockfish.

Rig action in the water - Rockfish.

I often use a Texas rig for fishing rocky ocean shorelines. A bottom slow dragging technique and Lifting & Falling technique are very productive ways to catch Rockfish hanging around covers.

I've caught tons of fish. But I have never actually seen the "How all those fish makes a bite on my lure". Of course, I have a visual image of it in my mind, so that I can manipulate my rig effectively. But.. it's all guess. I really wanted to see such a critical moment.

Then... here you go! I found this footage on my Facebook wall. Daiwa Japan has recently posted this video on their page. IMPRESSIVE! This is what I wanted.

Yes! It looks like what I imagined! This visual image is really important, especially for slow/finesse fishing. Without this kind of visual idea, it's tough to keep concentrating on manipulating a rig. Bites often not coming for hours. But we'll need to maintain focus. Imagination and focus would be key for a slow finesse style that I love.

 Thank you!
