This rig is very popular in Japan, especially for Saltwater Rockfish fishing.  Jungle Gym is a small fishing brand, which has produced lots of Rockfish gear. This is Beans Sinker, designed for fishing a rocky bottom. This unique design provides a better snag-free capability. A rig using this weight is called BE FREE TEXAS. A short version is BIFUTEKI. I guess BE FREE means “Being free from snag”. BE FREE TEXAS using Beans Sinker would be an interesting rig for all of you who love Texas, Free, and Jika rig. Many anglers have got great success with this Gary Yamamoto classic.  In Japan, in the early 90s, rigging a Gary Grub on the small jig head was a popular setting for Largemouth Bass. Keitech Crazy Flapper Chinning colors.  Keitech Crazy Flapper is a really good creature-type bait that perfectly fits for Texas rig, Jika rig, and Rubber jig trailer. Calico on the Texas rig with Crazy Flapper 2.8".  In Japan, this soft plastic is getting to be very popular as a secret weapon for Chinning. Chinning is a lure fishing genre for Chinu (Japanese Sea Bream). Chinu is one of the popular game fish targets. Traditionally, we use crabs, shrimps, mussels, and live worms to catch them. But recently, Chinu has become a popular lure-fishing target.  This month, Keitech is launching a new size of Crazy Flapper. 2.4 inches model. I believe this one mainly targets Chinning anglers.  This new size would be launched with 14 colors. Daiwa Line keeper looks cool.  After you fish with your spinning reels, what items you're using to hold the lines on a spool? Simply hook the line on a line keeper on a spool?   I use a rubber band I got at a dollar shop.  A standard cheap rubber band just works okay. I don't have a big problem but this is *just okay*. To tightly hold the leader line on a spool, a bit of practice would be needed. I wonder are there any *perfect* products for this purpose?  Then recently, I saw this product on my Instagram.  Oh yeah.. this looks cool. Breaking news from Keitech! Nov 24, 2022.  Hello! Keitech has announced they'll release a new size of Keitech Crazy Flapper in Dec. It would be the smallest one. 2.4 inches! (62 mm).  I'll pick up 3.6" for Bass fishing. For saltwater fishing, 2.8" has always been my favorite. The new small size, 2.4" is *very* interesting to me. I should give it a shot.  In Japan, 2.8" is famous for CHINNING, saltwater Japanese Sea Bream fishing. Using a pegged Free rig and JIKA rig, anglers catch good-sized Japanese Black Sea Bream (KURODAI クロダイ) in the river mouth area. I believe this 2.4" is designed for those kinds of saltwater targets.  Keitech says it will be available in late December in Japan. So far, nothing from Keitech USA.
